Pancake
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- honey or maple syrup (as desired)
- few drops of oil to grease the pan
Preparation:
- In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and mix together.
- Add butter, egg, milk, and stir with a fork until well combined.
- Place a frying pan over medium heat.
- Add a few drops of oil and rub the entire bottom of the pan. You can pour 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup of the batter, depending on the size of the pancake you wish to make.
- Cook until golden then flip to cook the other side.
- Transfer onto a serving dish.
- Repeat until the batter is finished.
- Serve with your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, strawberries, walnuts, or raisins.
- Drizzle the pancake with maple syrup, honey, or chocolate sauce and enjoy.
