Pancake


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg beaten
  • honey or maple syrup (as desired)
  • few drops of oil to grease the pan
Preparation:
  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and mix together.
  2. Add butter, egg, milk, and stir with a fork until well combined.
  3. Place a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Add a few drops of oil and rub the entire bottom of the pan. You can pour 1/4 cup or 1/2 cup of the batter, depending on the size of the pancake you wish to make.
  5. Cook until golden then flip to cook the other side.
  6. Transfer onto a serving dish.
  7. Repeat until the batter is finished.
  8. Serve with your favorite toppings such as sliced bananas, strawberries, walnuts, or raisins.
  9. Drizzle the pancake with maple syrup, honey, or chocolate sauce and enjoy.
