Fried Plantain Bananas

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of vegetable oil
  • 6 plantains (the peel should be almost black)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
Preparation:
  1. Peel the plantains and slice them thick and thin as preferred.
  2. Heat the oil in a deep medium-sized skillet over medium heat and add slices 4-6 pieces at a time.
  3. Fry until golden brown on both sides then transfer to the saving dish.
  4. If desired, sprinkle sugar over the fried plantains.
