Fried Plantain Bananas
Ingredients:
- 3 cups of vegetable oil
- 6 plantains (the peel should be almost black)
- 1/4 cup sugar (optional)
Preparation:
- Peel the plantains and slice them thick and thin as preferred.
- Heat the oil in a deep medium-sized skillet over medium heat and add slices 4-6 pieces at a time.
- Fry until golden brown on both sides then transfer to the saving dish.
- If desired, sprinkle sugar over the fried plantains.
