Beef Goulash

Ingredients:
- 500g beef stewing steak
- oil for the pan
- knob of butter for the pan
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- 1 carrot, finely sliced
- 250ml beef stock
- salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Wash the meat, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and sear the meat on all sides.
- Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Add some butter to the hot pan type and briefly fry the onion until translucent.
- Add tomato puree and stew briefly.
- Pour in the stock and add the meat and the carrots.
- Cover the pan and stew for 60-90 minutes over low heat.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve.
